Please Note This site has been designed and laid out for computer use. All (recent version) mainstream browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, & Google chrome - work here. The optimum screen size for use with this site is 21" or larger (smaller screens are workable, but bigger is better). On a 15" notebook screen with standard resolution - the viewing of pages requires no horizontal scrolling and only a minimal amount of vertical scrolling (hence, I consider 15" screens to be the low end baseline). And also related to screen size: given the large number of hyperlinks at this site - and the screen space needed to display these links in a visually aesthetic fashion -- mobile devices are not recommended here.

It is advisable that you watch all four of the short video tutorials (via the tutorials link on the upper right quadrant of your screen) before getting started. This ChatSanctum powered discussion forum has a great deal of functionality that is not found at other sites -and- which may be unfamiliar to first time users without the explanation these tutorials provide.

If you wish to include media with your posts and messages, the following 3rd party media services can be used at this site: YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, Google Drive (Google Slides), SoundCloud, and Microsoft OneDrive. Though optional, I recommend establishing accounts with YouTube, Flickr, Google Drive, and SoundCloud for use with this site. These are all free, quick to stream, easy to set up, and have practical application.

Use of this site is free, and everyone is invited to participate. With regard to money: advertising is projected to be the main revenue, and will be vital if this site is to stay in operation. And of course: donations are also appreciated. That being said, please be tolerant and patient with the advertising sponsors, and with each other. But, bear in mind, the Live Chat Line is not private. It's a public IRC channel provided by a 3rd party service called: Mibbit. And though it's free and works well, it sometimes displays raucous banner ads over which I have no control.

This site utilizes Flash Player media and Javascript. As such, your browser's Javascript feature should be enabled and Flash player installed. Newer versions of Chrome and Firefox come with Javascript already enabled. And most browsers work OK here, but, old versions of Internet Explorer prior to IE 8, and some "smart" gadgets may require updating.
